Dr Genevieve Hopkins - GP

Genevieve is a very experienced General Practitioner who has been practicing in Brisbane for over 20 years. Genevieve has a special interest in eating disorders and appetite suppressants.

As our family of patients continue to grow, we welcome Genevieve's knowledge and support with lap banding adjustments.

Rachel Moore - Dietitian

Rachel has a Bachelor of Applied Science, Graduate Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics
and a Masters of Health Science (all from Queensland University of Technology QUT). Rachel has experience in Weight Management as well as specific dietary advice
regarding gastric banding.

She is also an associate member of Obesity Surgery Society of Australia and New
Zealand OSSANZ and a member of the Australasian Society for the Study of Obesity
 ASSO.

She provides a pre-operative assessment service, educational service as well as regular post-operative visits to re-educate patients regarding eating habits in the years following gastric banding. she also offers state of the art Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis to monitor body composition changes.

Margie Brooke - Dietitian

Margie is a member of the Dietitians Association of Australia and has Accredited
Practising Dietitian (APD) status. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Science
degree from the University of Queensland (1992) and a Post Graduate Diploma in
Nutrition & Dietetics from the Queensland University of Technology (1994). She
has worked in Australia and the UK and has nutritional expertise in a wide range
of clinical specialities - including weight management, eating disorders and gastric
banding.

Margie works alongside Rachel to provide pre-operative assessment, education and ongoing post-operative eating advice.

Santo Russo - Clinical Psychologist

Pam Baxter - Clinical Nurse

Pam is a Registered Nurse with vast experience in both clinical and Theatre nursing. She provides invaluable nursing support to both George and our patients during our Gastric Banding Adjustment Clinics at Holy Spirit Northside Medical Centre.

Fiona Mcmillan - Nursing Support

Fiona has been a Registered Nurse and now provides Nursing Support to George and Genevieve at our Gastric Banding Adjustment Clinics at the Wesley Medical Centre and also at our new Clinic at Cadogan House, Nundah.

Lorraine Searles - Practice Manager

Lorraine is our Practice Manager and joined our team in 2006. She has worked in the medical industry for approximately 30 years and brings extensive medical and
secretarial experience to the practice.

Vicki Sheppard - Administration

Vicki has been with our practice since its inception in 2002 and after taking time out for a few months has rejoined the practice to assist Lorraine. She is familiar with all aspects of gastric banding procedures and the dietary requirements necessary to help our patients achieve the best results.
