Our team aims to provide all patients with a warm and friendly environment to obtain the information that they need to make the decision to proceed with this surgery.

Our Nursing Team consists of Jenny Murdoch and Amanda Salter who both provide valuable nursing support with initial assessment as well as an initial consultation and provision of the information required.

The next step is to see the Surgeon, Dr George Hopkins, who will explain in detail the mechanism of action, the success that has been had with this band and the potential problems that can occur. Dr George Hopkins has enormous experience in this procedure and provides very diligent and on-going post-operative follow-up care, in close association with your Referring Practitioner.

Ms Rachel Moore, Margaret Brooke, Michelle Graham and Rachel Myhill are our Clinic Dietitians who provide vital information to patients concerning the dietary requirements entailed in living with a gastric band.
